About Me
I'm Jeff Ellis, an AI Backend Developer specializing in Go, Postgres, pgvector, Docker, and OpenAI. I build fast, production-ready AI backends with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and scalable microservices.
I recently completed the Backend Specialization through CourseCareers and continued into a focused AI backend track. Through hands-on, project-based learning, I’ve built and deployed multiple production-grade services that reflect real-world backend and AI system design patterns.
My work centers on reliable data grounding, clean API boundaries, and composable AI services. I also explore workflow and orchestration patterns as a supporting layer on top of RAG systems, continuously deepening my understanding through iteration and rebuilds.
My goal is to design and develop reliable, scalable AI backends that solve real problems for real users.
